Ukraine Presentation Blog

Group One's presentation on Ukraine was interesting and well-made. The group goes into detail about how the Ukrainian people are suffering from the war with Russia. Many of the people living in cities that border Russia have had to evacuate and the group details these struggles in their presentation. I like how Group One presented a video and some unique images depicting the Ukraine War. The slides accurately show the damages the war has caused and how it has harmed so many innocent people in Ukraine. Those affected have experience the lose of their homes, their jobs, and their family members as well. At least the Ukraine people did find some help from other countries as war refugees. The Ukrainian people were offered opportunities to work and study while they were away from their homes and families, giving their lives a sense of normalcy in the chaos of war. But it does pains me to see so many people suffer unnecessarily. The war has caused so much chaos in Ukraine all for the glory and pride of an inconsiderate dictator. Group one did a phenomenal job presenting the War In Ukraine.

The Group Two presentation talks about some interesting facts about providing education to refugee students in the wake of the Ukrainian war. The presentation explains that there are a lot of schools and college students that were affected by the war, some of the students while in these programs disappear and don't come back for days or they disappear forever. Colleges and schools are trying to provide help for Ukrainian students so they can continue with their education. I also learned that there are a lot of schools and colleges trying to provide help for Ukrainian students offering full scholarships so they have an opportunity to continue with their education. Some of the other countries are offering Ukraine  financial aid, funding, and mental health assistance as well. Group two did very well in their presentation. I like how my group explained in detail what the Ukrainian students are facing in this war and the sacrifices they are enduring in their education as well. But my absolute favorite part of my group's presentation is when it shows a video of students from Africa protesting in Ukraine.

Finally, Group Three's presentation talks about healthcare in Ukraine during the war. Hearing about the emotional consequences that Ukrainians and others had to endure was not surprising. The Group's slide created awareness to the difficulties that the healthcare system has had to deal with during the war. The Ukraine war has had the same negative impact as World War II. I can't imagine how hard it must be for the hospitals to handle the massive numbers of injuries and deaths brought by the war while still trying to manage the active COVID pandemic. This presentation from group three was very informative. It made me feel so sad to see and hear about the demise of Ukrainian healthcare system and the difficulties they are now facing due to the current war.
