Ukraine Presentation Blog

Group One's presentation on Ukraine was interesting and well-made. The group goes into detail about how the Ukrainian people are suffering from the war with Russia. Many of the people living in cities that border Russia have had to evacuate and the group details these struggles in their presentation. I like how Group One presented a video and some unique images depicting the Ukraine War. The slides accurately show the damages the war has caused and how it has harmed so many innocent people in Ukraine. Those affected have experience the lose of their homes, their jobs, and their family members as well. At least the Ukraine people did find some help from other countries as war refugees. The Ukrainian people were offered opportunities to work and study while they were away from their homes and families, giving their lives a sense of normalcy in the chaos of war. But it does pains me to see so many people suffer unnecessarily. The war has caused so much chaos in Ukraine all for the glo...

Consequences of War in Ukraine

Maria del Valle Ortuno CONSEQUENCES OF WAR IN UKRAINE The second class presentation was, in my opinion, a huge success. The assigned theme was "Consequences of War in Ukraine." We were told that the project should include: study on the topic, ideally from credible historians, researchers, and the press; a comparison of American and (in our case) Ukrainian perspectives; and local and national associations and organizations participating. According to what I gathered, all three groups met the prerequisites for a great presentation. In addition, we were instructed to create study aids based on given chapters. I was pleasantly impressed by how well-organized and structured they were; this made understanding the chapters much simpler and easier. Theme presentations are a terrific method to learn new things whether you are presenting or listening. I personally enjoy working on these projects since I believe it is one of the finest methods for me to learn. Nonetheless, I must acknow...

Ukraine Presentations Reflection

Maria Foubelo   The Ukraine presentation has been my favorite one so far. It was definitively a learning experience and also sad at the same time. Doing the research and having to read and watch what is happening currently in Ukraine was truly devastating. All those people having to suffer because of the actions of an inconsiderate person is not fair. As someone from the outside, you feel bad for them but you don't really know how they feel. When you get to read and watch interviews with people who are living that reality it shocks you and makes you be grateful for what you have and for the place that you live. All groups and members of the groups did amazing in presenting the information. You could tell that everyone took time and did research to find the most credible information possible. In all honesty, my favorite group was mine which was group two. I believe that all of us did a good job in presenting the information. I also liked the topic that we got whic...

Michael Arango - Ukraine Presentations Reflection

This assignment was incredibly enlightening on the situation that has taken place in Ukraine. Everyone brought a unique perspective to how this war has affected the people involved and painted a detailed picture of what happens when millions of people come together to defend their livelihoods. They also taught me to appreciate the simple joys of life that we take for granted because, like for the people of Ukraine, they can be taken away so easily. Seeing so many first hand accounts of Ukrainians fighting to protect their country and families endeared me to them greatly, and helped me understand how devastating the cost of war is.   Group 1’s presentation was very informative in showing the far-reaching consequences of this war. It is terrifying to think of how many people will be left homeless due to the attacks destroying huge parts of major cities. The work of keeping all these people safe and sheltered will be very challenging and costly. I was surprised to see all the d...

Ukraine Prentation #2

Jan Ferreiro  I enjoyed every presentation as they all presented the challenges of living in Ukraine during this war and the challenges they will face soon. The situation abroad is only worsening and as a result of this many have fled to neighboring countries and presented many problems because of this worsening humanitarian crisis. Everyone did a great job at giving a good perspective of the Ukrainian people and the challenges they need to overcome to live something of a stable life and continue some sort of forwarding progress throughout the country through the war. I think my group did a great job at presenting the hardships that come with educational displacement because of all the students abroad who end up in a completely different country and have their educational progress completely stunted. I personally presented the hardships teachers are going through while trying to teach the next generation during the war. This is important because this is an ongoing war and who knows...

Ukraine War post #2 Kamilla Andrade

Group one presented well and they had a lot of information. They spoke about immigration, financial problem, and housing in Ukraine during the war. I learned there are a lot of Ukraine residents trying to get out of Ukraine and go to another county because they can live there because of the war. I also learned that rebuilding Ukraine and being great for people to live there again will cost 3.8 billion per day just on damage to buy buildings, companies, houses, cities, and a lot more. And for Ukraine people to go to any other county is hard because you need to understand the language, you need to be legal to work so it's way harder, they need to start from zero. But everyone that comes from Ukraine can apply for refugees opportunity so they can start working and while Ukraine is a place that is not good to live they will be able to stay in the united states having a normal life.       For group two the group that I am participating in and we talked abou...
