reflection of ukraine warpresentation
In group 1, they talked about how you shouldn't leave your house when theirs fighting nearby and how you should have important documents you should keep close just in case you have to leave in a hurry, and take pictures of the important documents just in case something happens to the original ones. They also talk about where you should go to seek a bomb shelter or libraries they talk about how librarians are helping people to seek shelter and provide medical aid and food, I was surprised when they talked about how you if you have record everything that was destroyed you could file a refund from diia which they included links to where ukraine families can go to found safety. The group did a great job talking about the economy and how other countries gave money and tried to help the best way they can, and how the ukrainians had to stay in refugee camps to get away from the war. The information they presented was great as they went into depth about what was happening in the ukraine economy and the financial problems.
In group 2, the way they talk about the struggles of students is heartbreaking, the fact that some students couldn't go home or even call their families to assure them they were okay was sad, and the video where the students had to beg someone to help them and how scared they were was so horrible. But, it's not only college students that is affect by the war but the childern too who have to stay home and go online which is good but scary because they can also be smack in the middle of a attack zone, in the next few slides I like how they talk about the consequences of missing school and how it affecting the mental health of the students. This group did a amazing job going into the problems that kids and student in ukraine are going through during the war, and the solid information they presented was just great.
In group 3, they talk about Healthcare in ukraine during the war, and hearing about the emotional consequences that ukrainians and others had to endure was not surprising. It's crazy hearing how nearly 80% of hospitals where destoyed and staffs as well have been injured and killed during that time, when group 3 also spoke about the affect it was having on people with autism and childern with disabilities made me intrigued to how they were dealing with all of this as well. They video's they were showing of families with childern of autism and disabilities was sad to hear, the way the pan the camera to the kids and even ask them how they felt about this whole ideal was sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. This group did a great job getting information on the facts of what is happening in the Healthcare during the war and how its affecting children and adults alike during these times.
Excellent post!
