Ukraine War post #2 Kamilla Andrade

     Group one presented well and they had a lot of information. They spoke about immigration, financial problem, and housing in Ukraine during the war. I learned there are a lot of Ukraine residents trying to get out of Ukraine and go to another county because they can live there because of the war. I also learned that rebuilding Ukraine and being great for people to live there again will cost 3.8 billion per day just on damage to buy buildings, companies, houses, cities, and a lot more. And for Ukraine people to go to any other county is hard because you need to understand the language, you need to be legal to work so it's way harder, they need to start from zero. But everyone that comes from Ukraine can apply for refugees opportunity so they can start working and while Ukraine is a place that is not good to live they will be able to stay in the united states having a normal life.

      For group two the group that I am participating in and we talked about Students, colleges, and schools in Ukraine and how they're making it work in Ukraine. I learned a lot by just doing my part of the presentation and I can tell you that those children they're suffering a lot. Some schools and colleges were partially destructed or completed, making the students o back tome or to a shelter and not study, some teachers even tried doing school online but it's hard because sometimes students disappear because of the war and don't come back in days or they disappear forever making the assumption that they died or they're in bad conditions. I also learned that there are a lot of schools and colleges trying to provide help for Ukraine students so they can follow their education somehow, there are even colleges that are offering full scholarships so they can follow on with their education, it's hard and they have to study while fighting for their life.

      Group three spoke about something really important and they made an amazing presentation, they presented about the consequences because of the war in Ukraine. I already knew about the consequences because I can't even imagine going through a war and having the scary thought of losing everything that I have worked for and losing all my family. The students in that case will be highly affected because they can't go to school, they can't study, and everything that they're going through is going to leave a mark in their life that may never be cured. Unfortunately, they will be remembering everything that happened and that can get kids traumatized, and not say those kids that lost their whole family and now they have no one and they need to go to a foster children care in the future and that happened because of the war between two countries that are fighting for power and power only just like maybe 30 years ago, Ukraine war is affected as bad as it was when world War 2 happened.
