GROUP 1

Humanity, humanity is something that we have a lot about but we don't talk that much about. Inside of the topic humanities, there is a lot to talk about. Like Cultures, groups works, food, and potential barriers were so much more than just a body or a human, was art, were different counties and we all have different cultures. Our class had a presentation and in my personal view everyone did amazing, of course sometimes we can all learn more so we know more about what we're talking about but for me, we all were perfectly doing the presentations. Group one talked about culture and communication; cultures are the difference between everyone, we have many different cultures, Like in brazil we eat a lot of chicken hearts and here and in Venezuela they find it weird to eat. But we Brazilians in Rio de Janeiro are used to eating that all the time. I was able to learn a lot with group one presentation, I learned about verbal communication and the use of words to convey a message and nonverbal communication facial expressions, gestures, paralinguistics such as loudness or tone of voice, body language, proxemics or personal space, eye gaze, haptics (touch), appearance, and artifacts. something that I do a lot is nonverbal communication and I love it, you can tell everything that someone is thinking only by their expression.  and also that in India they eat with their hands without a problem but in Brazil and the United States it's not normal to each with their hand, also in Africa there is a high percentage of women that cant go to school. Furthermore group one talked a lot about age generation and technology and that is something that I love to talk about I always learn a lot when I listen to it because it's interesting. And Me myself when I was born they didn't have a touch screen phone. When I was 8 years old my first phone was a simple phone that didn't have any touch screen because that was for rich people, so were all advancing technologically really fast and we don't stop. It's hard for old people that could not get used to our new generation, our phones, and lives because there are also people that want to teach our children and also try to put them on a path that does not work anymore because that is what they're used on doing in 1980 and they cant get used to the way we are now. and how the world has gone forward, some people are still in the past.

GROUP 2

Group two was the group that I was participating and unfortunately, I could not present my part but my group did well and presented everything the way we should do it. We had many different things to talk about ad we had many topics like groups conflicts, household family communication methods, work, groups and teams, and interests in the groups so we had a lot to talk about and I learned a lot by doing my presentation and also learning about the chapter and reading it. Something that I didn't know existed is that there are conflicts something in the group that is not that hard to solve and sometimes it's just that a different person in the group thought they were being attacked only because another teammate had a different thought about what they're talking about. And those group issues are really easy to solve because they only need to hear everyone's opinions, see how they can come together, and choose the best option that will be good for everyone. I also learned that smaller groups are way easier than larger groups and that is true because when you have more people that are more people to disagree about the final decision about a group and  A group cant move forward and be successful with a work or a project without communicating. So Communication in groups is really important to be successful with assignments or even with a job. Virtual groups are groups that contain people that go online and can communicate without a face to face meeting and they can do it anywhere, where many people from the group can be miles or even in another county with distance and they can communicate and still be a group, they can communicate through zoom, WhatsApp, google meeting but the disadvantage of a virtual group is that its way harder to create a positive relationship with another people because they don't see each other face to face, so it's way harder to make connections. There are many ways that we can solve issues or go on the right path with groups and there are a lot of ways that interacted with people and how you understand the people and reads the people is different, is important learning to communicate and understand others people opinion.

GROUP 3

Group leadership and group solving were presented by group three group leadership is being the group leader and deciding what is best for the group and also getting the final answer for the group, It seems easy but it is not easy because the group leaders have to also take care of the group and make sure everyone is doing the right things and everyone is participating on the assignments. Group solving is to solve any problems that the groups have and also make sure to make a decision that everyone agrees about and is good for the group. I think group three presented every topic well and I learned a lot about being a group leader with them because it's not only a leader but you also need responsibilities, complete individual assignments, be able to hear everyone, and understand that people have different opinions. An effective meeting is something that I learned a lot too, and the most important for effective meetings is to Avoid meeting interruptions, double-bookings, and under-utilized spaces. Book your favorite meeting room, building work, and move projects forward; because if you stop every time and get distracted by something the meeting will not be as effective as it would be. In the end, I learned that we all should do presentations because it does help a lot to understand and have the topic in mind. Reading is not the same thing as listening and doing a presentation and it does help a lot.
